Welcome to Wormingford Parish Council

The Parish Council is your most local tier of government and is committed to looking after the interests of those who live and work within the parish of Wormingford.

The responsibilities of the Parish Council are many and varied and include the management and maintenance of local infrastructure such as play areas and village halls and, by being closer to the local community, can more easily meet local needs.  Importantly the Parish Council is also entitled to be consulted on any planning applications that affect the village.

The Chair of the Council is Peter Bentley.

Wormingford Parish Council consists of 7 Parish Councillors, who are responsible for administering a significant budget for the benefit of the local community.  


Next Meeting

Meetings usually take place on the second Thursday of the month (except August and December) and commence at 7.00pm at Wormingford Village Hall, although sometimes times and dates and venues vary so please check the Agenda for exact details.

The next parish council meeting will take place on Thursday 12th May 2022 at 7.00pm in the Village Hall.
